 on (a mix of private wealth\, foundations\, and public funding) has not 
 historically supported equitable outcomes. The arts sector in Houston ha
 s grown\, but funding has not kept up with the growth to provide young a
 rtists and cultural workers with the opportunities needed to thrive.\nBu
 ilding a Culture of Arts Advocacy in Houston is a series of workshops de
 signed to empower folks like you to use your voices and become active pa
 rticipants in co-creating an arts-filled city. This program engenders co
 urage\, creativity\, accountability\, and know-how through active partic
 ipation and group reflection.\n\nLed by Liyen Chong\, a core organizer a
 t Arts Accountability Houston (AAH)\, this workshop draws from the succe
 sses AAH achieved in building a grassroots-led coalition and advocating 
 for artists and small to mid-sized arts organizations at the local level
 .\nIn Building a Culture of Arts Advocacy in Houston: #3 Practicing Pow
 er\, participants will learn how and where to show up\, and who to talk
